In 2014 the founder of Funk Cancer, Kari Hyde, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through her treatment the community showed her endless support. Kari realized she needed to give back and raise awareness in the community about cancer and show people that with a good attitude anything is possible – and thus FUNK Cancer was born!
