The NuBlu Band Performing Live
I'm finally getting settled back in Chicago. It's been a very interesting experience filled with fun and challenges already, even though the journey has just begun. However, nothings more fun than playing with a new group!
I'll be playing this month with the NuBlu band, a dope Blues and soul band featuring the incredible vocals of Carlise Guy, daughter of famed blues guitarist, Buddy Guy. The group also consists of Mark Maddox on guitar, Dan Henley on drums, Dave Holloway on key, and Kenyatta Gaines on backup vocals.
It's truly an honor to be playing with professionals in every sense of the word. Last Saturday was my first show with the band; the music was tight, the crowd was engaged, and my aunt came out to support! It was a great night and I'm looking forward to more.
